Below is a summary of how SEB AM handles your personal data and information regarding your rights.

Collection of personal data

Personal data is provided and collected before and in connection with the initiation of a customer relationship and the conclusion of an agreement and/or an assignment, or otherwise in connection with a customer relationship. When contacting SEB AM by telephone, these calls are recorded.

Purposes

SEB AM processes personal data for the purposes deemed necessary as set out below:

  • The conclusion, administration and fulfilment of agreements entered into, including advice;
  • For fulfilment of obligations under law, other statutes or decisions by public authorities; and
  • For market and customer analyses, system development and marketing.

Personal data may for the stated purposes - taking into account the rules on banking secrecy - sometimes be disclosed to other companies within the SEB Group or to companies both within the EU/EEA and outside the EU/EEA (third country) with which the SEB Group cooperates.

Your rights

You have the right to receive information about what personal data about you is processed by SEB AM and thus have the right to receive a register extract. 

You can also contact SEB AM if you want to:

  • request correction of incorrect or incomplete data;
  • request erasure or restriction of the processing of personal data;
  • object to the processing; or
  • obtain the personal data that you yourself have provided to SEB AM and that SEB AM processes on the basis of contract or consent and, if technically possible, have them transferred directly to another controller (data portability).

Your request and/or objection as described above will be assessed by SEB AM in each individual case.

Data Protection Officer

SEB AM has appointed a Data Protection Officer to monitor SEB AM's compliance with the rules on the protection of personal data. The Data Protection Officer shall fulfil his/her assignment in an independent manner in relation to SEB AM.
