About SEB Luxembourg
We started our operations in Luxembourg in 1973, and today we serve as SEB's cross-border centre of excellence for Private Wealth Management for Nordic private individuals, entrepreneurs, investors, and family offices residing abroad. In addition, we are also the international hub for SEB funds. Further, we provide corporations and institutions with a wide range of services, including custody and transaction processing, as well as depositary bank services to Luxembourg investment funds. We have around 140 employees and more than 20 different nationalities at SEB Luxembourg.
 
 
We have vacancies in the following departments:
 
Asset Management & Investments
This department is responsible for the discretionary portfolio management on behalf of the bank’s international clients. The main focus of the department is on discretionary portfolio management, investment analysis, trade implementation, client follow-up and prospecting.

Client Services
This department is part of the Client Coverage team within the Private Wealth Management & Family Office business area, supporting its international clients with their everyday banking needs such as transfers, credit cards and internet banking support. This department also ensures that correct KYC and KYT documentation is in place for its clients.

Compliance
This department is responsible for providing advise to business colleagues regarding internal/external rules and regulations, and to proactively check that the business processes conducted within the Branch are in keeping with rules and regulations. Compliance also analyses new regulations to advise business colleagues about new regulatory requirements and provides ongoing training and awareness on Compliance matters.

Finance
The Finance Department is responsible for Financial and Business Control to keep accurate financial records. The department provides different financial statements and data to support management and business.

Financing Solutions
This department is responsible for offering proactive advice both internally and towards international clients supporting the Private Wealth Management & Family Office business area with the completion of international mortgage, securities financing and other credit facilities. The mortgage offering covers countries as France, Spain, Portugal, UK and Switzerland.

Investor Services
This department within the Corporate and Investment Banking division consists of Client Services and Depositary Service & Oversight. These two teams are responsible for the depositary function and the global custody product for institutional clients within the investment fund industry (UCITS and AIF).

Reception
The reception serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, welcoming them in a professional manner, answering and redirecting phone calls, handling mails and deliveries, taking care of the meeting rooms and providing assistance in various matters.

Welcome to SEB
This department within the Private Wealth Management & Family Office business area delivers vital services for onboarding of new clients and conducts periodical reviews of existing clients, working closely with the Client Coverage department, and ensuring that the regulatory compliance goes hand in hand with world-class client experience.

 
Who we are looking for
Students who are:
·         Between 18 and 26 years old
·         Enrolled in a teaching establishment in Luxembourg or abroad (university or similar), having completed at least one year of studies, or whose school registration has ended less than 4 months prior to starting the summer job
·         Willing to work at least 6 weeks, preferably 8 weeks during the summer
 
You demonstrate the following skills and qualities:
·         Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges
·         Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
·         Interest in pursuing a career in banking or finance
·         Good skills in MS Office
·         Fluent in both written and spoken English; Nordic, French or German languages considered as an advantage.
