About the role:
We are seeking for Senior Accountant for our Countries Accounting I unit which is responsible for accounting for several branches of the bank. You will play a key role in daily, monthly and yearly processes for Denmark Branch accounting. You will closely work with multiple stakeholders within Global Finance, which represents a great opportunity to gain experience in many aspects of the General Accounting department in a rapidly growing digital organisation.
As a Senior accountant you will be responsible for:
Flawless execution of Record-to-Report transactional activitiesEnsure period-end closing procedures and preparation of the financial reportingPerform P/L and BS controls, Internal Controls for Financial Reporting (ICFR), KPI and other reportingDrive the resolution of more complex queries raised by colleagues, managers, finance partners, other internal and external stakeholders, auditorsPrepare VAT, Corporate income tax, other applicable taxesStakeholder management – participation in the meetings, escalation and solution of issues, alignment of expectations and cooperationAssist and train team members in completing their work as you would have at least one accountant supporting your jobClose collaboration with all the involved parties (projects, cross teams, etc.) and helping them to follow the deadlines and solve more complex issues
To thrive in this role, we believe you have/are:
Plus 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experienceDegree in Finance/AccountingMatured attitude towards challenges, problem solving and creative in terms of improving ways of working, handling complex information Friendly, proactive, approachable, and motivated with a strong work ethic and willingness to develop yourself, share your knowledge and help othersAbility to work in the team and independently, while effectively handling time pressure during closing peak periodsGreat communication skills and fluency in English

2.600 € - 3.500 € a month
The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
