We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our Trading Regulatory Reporting Team in Riga within SEB’s Technology area. The team already consists of dedicated persons who are delivering regulatory reporting for SEB and its clients. We work based in Stockholm & Riga as a large virtual team using agile methodologies. And we are now looking for a QA Engineer to be part of one of our agile teams and working on shaping our applications for the future.
What you will be doing:
Regulatory Reporting has been an important part of the financial services industry during the last 10 years, and, to adapt to all market changes. The application we use today is an in-house built reporting engine built on Microsoft platform that delivers key information to regulators to keep SEB compliant throughout its Trading services.
You will be based in Riga and work in an international and friendly environment in close cooperation with different teams in Sweden, Latvia and other countries. We see you as a candidate that can play an important role in our SAFe agile team, working on transforming, developing and maintaining our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications, using Zephyr, Jira and ConfluenceDevelop Automated Test: Create and maintain automated test scripts using C#, SQL and various testing frameworks and toolsAutomated and Manual Testing: Perform both automated and manual testing to identify defects and ensure product qualityBug Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using JiraRegression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not have negative effect on existing functionalityPerformance Testing: Evaluate the performance, scalability, and reliability of the softwareContinuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies
Who we are looking for:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalentExcellent in test analysis and test designExcellent knowledge in MS SQL and good knowledge in C# .NetFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube).Experience from tools: Zephyr, Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Experience from Test Automation practices
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesWe also believe you are enjoying the Agile way of working
It is meritorious if you have:
ISTQB certification or equivalentExperience from working in a bank with reporting applications We highly value your personality. 2.650 € - 3.950 € a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job.
