The world’s largest offshore wind farm is being constructed on a stretch of land that once connected the UK to mainland Europe. Dogger Bank Wind Farm will have 280 wind turbines and an aggregated generation capacity of 3.6GW.

In the North Sea, one of the largest offshore wind farms is being constructed on Dogger Bank, a stretch of submerged land that once connected the UK to mainland Europe. With a total of 277 wind turbines, Dogger Bank Wind Farm will have an aggregated installed generation capacity of 3.6GW.  

The park is expected to be operational by 2026 and will be connected to the UK power grid. It will have the capacity to power 6 million households annually 

SEB is committed to European offshore wind power and is one of the banks involved in providing financing, as well as currency and interest rate hedging, for this project.
