Accessibility
We are constantly working to increase the accessibility of the website. Our goal is that all information and services on the website should be usable by everyone, regardless of personal or technical conditions. On this page, we go through how we work with different parts of accessibility and give tips on how you as a user can adapt your experience to your needs. On the Technology Help page (In Swedish on seb.se), you can find further help on how to use our website more easily.
In our accessibility statement, you can read more about our accessibility work in more detail.
Screen readers and other accessibility tools
To ensure that our services are accessible to as many people as possible, we work actively to support assistive technology tools.
To achieve this, we test our services with the NVDA (for desktop), VoiceOver, and Talkback (for mobile) screen readers.
How to use screen readers
Apple computers and mobile devices have the VoiceOver screen reader built in. Windows computers' built-in screen reader is called Narrator and Android's is called Talkback. You can find more info on how to turn these on in your device's settings. The NVDA that we use in our tests, can be downloaded to your Windows computer for free at nvaccess.org.
Readability and language
For us, it is important to have a language that is understandable and to the point. No one should feel excluded from our services because we use too difficult language. We also try to make sure that our pages work well in the built-in reading modes available in browsers such as Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

Zoom and magnification
It is also important that our pages support magnification in a well-functioning way. In our feeds where you can identify yourself with BankID, we have made sure that the QR code is never hijacked regardless of whether you use a zoomed-in mode.
How to zoom
Changing the zoom level in your browser is in many cases built-in and accessed through the browser's menu. You can also zoom by holding down CTRL and scrolling up or down on the mouse scroll wheel. On touchscreen devices, you can often pinch two fingers together and increase the distance between them to zoom in.
Navigate with a keyboard
Our services should be navigable completely without a mouse. This is both because some individuals find it difficult to navigate with a mouse, but also because well-functioning keyboard navigation often goes hand in hand with a better experience for assistive tools.
How to navigate with the keyboard
When navigating with a keyboard, you can access buttons, links, and other clickable parts of the page. You can use the Tab key to move forward, and if you need to go back, you can use Shift + Tab. Use Enter to activate the button or link you navigated to. In some cases, spaces also work to open an expandable list, for example.
Links in new window
Sometimes we open links in a new window. We do this so that you can easily return to our website when you close the opened window. When we open links in a new window, we mark it with an icon, so you know what behavior to expect.
How to control link opening
Several browsers have their own settings for how links are handled. For example, if the link opens a file, this can happen in the current or new window depending on your settings. If you want a tab to open in a new window even if it doesn't have the icon for it, you can right-click on a link and select "open link in new tab/window".
Web browser
SEB's websites are well-functioning in modern browsers such as newer versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Safari. If you have a problem with our pages in any less common browser, please contact us so that we can try to fix it.
If our pages do not work
If certain content does not work or pages are otherwise perceived as broken, a good first step may be to update your browser or check that you have accepted our cookies.
