Past performance is not indicative of future results. The value of fund units/shares can rise as well as fall and you may not get back the amount invested. Funds with a risk level of 5–7 according to the fund’s key information document (KID) can both decrease and increase significantly in value. Fund information, including the KID, prospectus, and sustainability-related disclosures can be found at www.sebgroup.lu/funds.
Through our global investment approach, we routinely identify attractive direct investment opportunities, some being traded in the public markets. Our explicit strategy in these cases is to invest alongside reputable private market investors with a clear value-creation plan through strong and active ownership.
Our listed strategy leverages these insights and has the explicit strategy to invest alongside reputable private market investors in public companies that have a clear value-creation plan through strong and active ownership in a public setting. Since the start of the listed investment strategy we started investing in publicly listed companies in 2008, we have focused on building a diversified, global portfolio of investments delivering private equity-like returns in the public market. This is achieved with a local private equity partner holding board seat(s) through a significant minority ownership with the aim of significantly changing the company operationally and/or strategically. The strategy is unique in the sense that it combines the liquidity of public markets with attractive access to private market insights by utilising the SEB Private Equity’s network to identify attractive great opportunities.
