Do you want to work with developing and managing some of SEB's core systems for securities? Do you have experience with Cobol, DB2 and Mainframe? We are now looking for someone who wants to work with COBOL programming but also contribute to the modernization of the mainframe for Core Custody within Retail & Wealth area.
About the job
SEB is currently in the middle of our digital transformation and where we need your help to shape the bank's future. Our mainframe systems are important to be able to enable speed and quality in IT delivery for large parts of our business areas. As a COBOL developer with us, you are responsible for developing and managing solutions in accordance with requirements, strategies and architecture.
You will be part of a team of 8 people who work with the development and management of the systems that we are responsible for within the Clearing & Settlement area of Custody. We work closely with the business, where the customers' needs and wishes are in focus. Within the team, you will be responsible for systems that handle settlement of securities transactions, internal and external moves, as well as static data on markets and custodian banks.

We believe you have
Extensive experience on development in Mainframe/zOS, it’s extra meritorious if you have Hands on experience with SEB’s modern development environments such as IDz, SEBz, VS-Code and SUI. Extensive experience in Cobol programming and DB2. Experience of JCL-construction. Experience from banking and finance and securities is meritorious. Appreciate that we work agile, it is extra meritorious if you work according to SAFe Good skills in both speaking and writing in English.
