SEB’s Corporate & Investment Banking Summer Internship 2026 – FICC International Credit Sales

Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of banking and finance? SEB’s Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) division offers talented students an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your potential over a few intense summer months. Your internship starts off with an introduction week where you get to know SEB as an employer but also CIB as a division. During the introduction you will meet representatives from the division and participate in learning and networking activities. We end the internship with a closing day where we catch up and share experiences.  

As an intern in our International Credit Sales team - a key part of SEB’s highly successful Fixed Income unit, known for delivering top-tier services across major financial hubs - you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. Our International Credit Sales team is a highly skilled global sales team based in Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Helsinki and Stockholm. As an integrated part of the Credit Capital Markets value chain we engage with international investors on their Fixed Income investments by connecting issuers to the market, executing trades and generating trade ideas. Together with our closest stakeholders: Trading, DCM, Syndicate, Research and other sales teams, we strive to generate long-term value for our clients. 

 

The focus of this internship will be to participate and learn about the day-to-day activities of a Credit Sales. You would, for example support colleagues with analysis and preparatory work, provide the organization with assistance, produce sales materials, excel modelling as well as having direct contact with clients.

As collaboration is key for the success of our business, you will also be given the opportunity to start building your professional network within our global value chain and learn how different parts of our organization interact with each other. 

 

Who are you? 

We are looking for an ambitious and positive individual with a genuine interest in financial markets. You are creative, proactive, and a team player with a can-do attitude. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. Experience with data analysis and presentation is a plus.

 

·       Currently pursuing a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Economics, or a related field. 

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and clients.

·       Excellent oral and written English skills is a must. Additional language skills such as fluency in Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German or Swedish are beneficial. 

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an advantage.
