Infrastructure clients are actively searching for suppliers that could contribute to reducing emissions in their value chain. TDC NET, the Danish provider of digital infrastructure, is the first company in the world to receive a validated 2030 net-zero target aligned with climate science using the Science Based Targets initiative’s (SBTi’s) Net-Zero Standard.
To achieve this goal, they are investing in solar energy, optimising energy consumption, transitioning to electric vehicles, and collaborating with partners to effectively manage emissions.
SEB has been one of TDC NET's leading and strategic financial partners and has acted as the sole sustainability advisor on TDC NET’s sustainability-linked finance framework. This allows TDC NET to issue sustainability-linked bonds and engage with investors who are supportive of their goal to reduce CO2 emissions by 2030.
The SBTi’s Corporate Net-Zero Standard is the only framework in the world that aligns corporate net-zero target setting with climate science. TDC NET's net-zero targets have been validated by the SBTi. They aim to reduce scope 1, 2, and 3 (full value chain) CO2 equivalent emissions by 2030, using 2020 as the baseline.
