Young students in Latvia shadow employees at SEB

The youngest of the students, shadowing employees at Tukums branch of SEB Latvia, was a pupil of grade 3. Also Ainars Ozols, head of SEB Latvia, was followed during his working day by one of the students. However, maybe Marta Kulitāne, a grade 12 student of Riga State Gymnasium No. 1, had the most exciting experience, assisting a currency dealer in the acquisition of EUR 1 million.

“SEB Latvia has taken part in the Shadow Day for 12 years,” Ainārs Ozols says. “I encourage all young people to take part and assess what they see, listen to what their hearts tell them and not to rush into any profession. Me and my colleagues sincerely hope that this experience turns out useful for the young students and the highest appreciation of our work would be if someone from the Shadow Day joined the team of SEB in Latvia in the future.”
