Three equity funds won awards in the most prestigious category of all in the Nordic Lipper Fund Awards.
The 2023 Nordics Lipper Fund Awards reflect an independent and uncompromised assessment of fund performance. Although SEB Investment Management has won previous awards, this year, three SEB equity funds have been awarded the most prestigious category of all, the award for having shown consistently strong risk-adjusted returns while outperforming their peers over a 10-year period.
“Receiving recognition for our strategy across various geographies is undoubtedly an honour,” states Andreas Wollheim, Head of Equities. “Our successful investment track record is a testament to our team’s dedication to our investment process, which emphasizes a long-term perspective and focuses on investing in strong companies.”
SEB Sweden Small Cap C/R fund, managed by Jimmy Bengtsson, which was awarded the ten years category in 2022, repeated the successful outcome in 2023.
“Our success through our commitment to our long-term strategy in the small-cap space is both exhilarating and validates our approach,” says Jimmy Bengtsson, Portfolio Manager.
The SEB European Equity Small Caps fund, managed by Anders Knudsen and Lars Knudsen based in Copenhagen, was awarded the three- and five-years categories in 2022 and has now been awarded the 10 years category in 2023.
SEB Nordic Future Opportunity Fund, managed by Caroline Forsberg and Robert Vicsai, won the Nordic Equity ten years category. The fund is a thematic Article 9 fund investing in energy transition, resource efficiency and circularity, sustainable mobility, and healthy societies.
