Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of banking and finance? SEB’s Wealth & Asset Management division (WAM) offers talented students an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow their potential over a few weeks in the spring. Kick-start your career in Wealth & Asset Management through a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry experts and build your professional network within one of the Nordics' leading financial institutions. If you have the ambition, we will support you every step of the way!

The internship in short

The programme kicks off end of March and will last for 10 weeks (full-time). As an intern, you are recruited to a specific job role where you will be involved in daily business activities and have a great opportunity to explore the environment of banking. You will be guided by at least one tutor during your internship. You will get to know SEB, meet professionals across the WAM division, get to know other interns and start building your network. For more details visit our webpage here.

Wealth & Asset Management

The Wealth & Asset Management division (WAM) serves a wide range of client segments, including high-net-worth individuals, business families, private equity firms, institutional investors and corporate clients.

WAM has approximately 2000 employees across 15 markets: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Poland and Switzerland.

What You Will Do

As an intern within Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), you will gain insight into how we support a strong client experience while meeting regulatory and operational requirements. The internship may be placed within Welcome Sweden, which supports client onboarding and related client interactions, or within CLM Development, which works with improving processes, ways of working and the client lifecycle journey.

Depending on the final placement and current priorities, you may support the team by:
• Contributing to selected business activities, analyses and improvement initiatives
• Gathering and structuring information to support decision-making and development work
• Supporting documentation, presentations and follow-up of ongoing activities
• Collaborating with colleagues across CLM and Wealth & Asset Management
• Bringing a fresh perspective and ideas on how we can improve the client and employee experience

The detailed assignment will be defined closer to the start of the internship, based on business needs and the intern’s profile and interests.
