About the role
You will join the Baltic Card Payments and Wallets Team, responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining SEB’s card payments and wallet solutions across the Baltics. In this role, you will contribute to initiatives related to card payments, chargebacks, and wallets, helping deliver reliable and customer-focused solutions in a complex banking environment.

As a Software Developer, you will:
  • Contribute to requirement clarification, solution design, and effort estimation
  • Develop and deliver software solutions using Java/Spring Boot and related technologies 
  • Support solution integration, deployment, and release activities  
  • Troubleshoot issues, analyse root causes, and implement sustainable fixes 
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve technical challenges and find the best available solutions  
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • Solid experience with Java and Spring Boot 
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (for example, Angular)
  • Understanding of backend services, integrations, and deployment processes  
  • Solid verbal and written English skills which will be needed for effective cooperation with colleagues across the Baltic countries
  • Experience with Scrum / Agile development methodologies  
  • Experience or willingness to learn OpenEdge ABL / Progress  
Technologies you may work with (our tech-stack):
  • Front-end: Angular 
  • Back-end: Web services with Java / Spring Boot, OpenEdge ABL (Progress) 
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, OpenEdge RDBMS 
  • Development and integration tools: Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, GitHub Copilot

3.000 € - 4.300 € a month
The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
