If so, this is probably a position for you! We are now looking for a Cloud Data Engineer to our Regulatory team within Trading Technology. 

What you will be doing 

As a cloud data engineer, you will work with Regulatory and business-related development in our high-priority trading area. You will help develop our cloud-based data warehouse to further support our trading business. You will belong to our cross-functional team in which you will work with requirements, test, development, and deployment as well as having a dialogue with stakeholders around the solutions. In addition, you will also collaborate with other developers in the team through coaching, performing code reviews, and being involved in design decisions, etc.  

Who we are looking for 

You are a confident and skilled developer with strong technical expertise and a genuine interest in the Trading area, motivated by creating highvalue, businessdriven solutions.  

You are also a selfmotivated individual who demonstrates respect for others, takes an active interest in collaboration, and contributes positively as a team player with an open mindset. 

You are also proficient in: 

  • Data engineer with minimum 3 years of experience in the field 

  • Data integration, data modelling and data pipelines in the cloud 

  • SQL and programming skills (preferably Python) 

  • Version Control (i.e., Git) and Agile development 

  • Testing and test-automation 

 

Highly meriting is also: 

  • Google Cloud Platform (other cloud providers) 

  • BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, PubSub and Cloud Storage 

  • Dataform /dbt 

  • Airflow 

  • Terraform 

  • Monitoring and alerting of Data Warehouse 

  • Data management/data mesh 

  • Other cloud providers 

  • GCP Cloud Data Engineer Certified (or equivalent) 

 

Your team 

You will join our Regulatory team of 12 highly collaborative members, where everyone contributes across the full development lifecycle. We pride ourselves on a strong team culture built on openness, trust, and active knowledge sharing. We work in an agile setup following SEB’s implementation of SAFe, with daily stand-ups, regular reviews, and retrospectives that support continuous improvement.  

The team is responsible for two applications, both under active and continuous development. 

We strongly encourage professional growth and see GCP certifications at various levels as a natural and valued part of your development journey. We also encourage active and responsible use of Copilot and LLMs to support development and enhance productivity.
