About the role

As a senior back-end (.NET) solution developer, you will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, developing, and modernizing mission-critical payment capabilities. You will work closely with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance services aligned with SEB’s long-term payment strategy.

You will be working in one of our feature teams in Örebro delivering the banks new global payment platform.  We believe that you are passionate about development and eager to constantly learn. You are proactive and contribute with ideas and suggested improvements to our way of working. You take pride in delivering clean, efficient, maintainable and tested code.

Who we are looking for:

  • A senior developer with experience in developing .NET applications and working with agile development together with product specialists and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems and identify patterns.
  • Experience in working with DevOps, CI/CD and automation is needed.
  • Will work in Microsoft-stack with .NET and Kubernetes, and event driven architecture.
  • Equally important is your experience of turning requirements into well-functioning solutions.
  • An understanding of business requirements and experience from IT design is also required.
  • Great communication skills in both Swedish and English.

Bonus if you also have:

  • Experience of working with development in the banking sector. Familiarity with payment standards or banking integrations.
