About the Role
Department consists of two production teams responsible for daily control processes, as well as an Analytics & Development team. We are the final control point before regulatory disclosure, performing pre‑ and post‑reporting controls to ensure accurate, complete and timely reporting.
As a Regulatory Reporting Operations Specialist, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive team of experienced professionals working across several regulatory frameworks. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring high‑quality regulatory reporting under various jurisdictions (SFTR, MiFID II, DFA, EMIR, MAS and Central Banks). This includes investigating reporting breaks, driving corrective actions, and collaborating closely with Product Operations, Business stakeholders and Tech teams.
The role requires independence, analytical thinking and accountability when handling complex cases and regulatory risks, and is well‑suited for professionals ready to move beyond execution and take ownership of complex regulatory reporting topics and continuous improvements. Working at the final stage of the reporting chain will also give you strong end‑to‑end insight into trade flows and trading products, from source systems to regulatory disclosure.
- Execute daily operational processes related to regulatory trade reporting, in line with agreed workflows, controls and timelines
- Perform advanced pre‑ and post‑reporting controls to ensure accurate, complete and timely regulatory reporting
- Investigate reporting breaks and data quality issues, including complex and non‑standard cases, applying independent judgement to identify root causes and define solutions
- Drive corrective actions end‑to‑end, collaborating closely with Product Operations, Business stakeholders and Tech teams
- Proactively identify, assess and escalate operational risks, incidents and deviations, ensuring proper follow‑up and prevention of reoccurrence
- Actively contribute to process development, automation and efficiency improvements, turning regulatory and data insights into concrete enhancements
- Participate in projects, testing activities and regulatory or system changes as a subject‑matter contributor, bringing deep process and regulatory knowledge into discussions and improvements
- Strengthen and maintain deep end‑to‑end understanding of trade flows, products, regulatory requirements and supporting systems
- 2+ years of relevant experience in regulatory reporting, financial operations, data analysis or a similar role within banking or financial services
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to work independently with complex data sets and non‑standard situations
- Good understanding of financial products, trade flows and regulatory or operational processes
- Ability to identify risks, investigate root causes and propose sustainable solutions
- Structured, proactive and responsible working style, with high attention to detail and quality
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions
- Willingness to share knowledge, support colleagues and contribute to a strong learning culture
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Experience with SQL, BI tools, Python or VBA is an advantage
