About the role:

Traditional Investment Group is part of the Investment department within SEB Pension och Försäkring in the Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) division. We manage SEB’s Traditional Insurance portfolios and support stakeholders with analysis, communication, reporting and regulatory follow-up.

In this role, you will manage and further develop the asset-liability portfolio within the fixed income derivatives area. You will be responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management work, including implementation, monitoring and follow-up, while also contributing to the long-term strategy. The role includes forming a macro and market view, performing due diligence and investment evaluation, and supporting the team with research, investment insights and decision material. You will prepare and present analyses to committees and other forums, and you will collaborate across the team on portfolio structuring and allocations across asset classes. A high level of ambition regarding sustainability characterizes the management of the portfolios.

You will join an experienced team working with portfolio structuring and investments across asset classes. Together, we strive for efficient management of SEB’s life portfolios and to create the most competitive traditional insurance product in the market.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

We are looking for a portfolio manager or closely related roles. Ideally, you bring a combination of long-term focus, technical skills, and a team-oriented mindset.

  • Experience in portfolio management (or closely related roles such as quantitative analyst); preferably within fixed income derivatives and asset-liability management
  • Strong academic background and solid quantitative skills
  • Comfortable working in Python and with modern IT solutions used in investment management
  • Clear communication skills, including when presenting analyses to committees and other stakeholders
  • Engaged, driven, proactive and pragmatic; able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken

Meriting: Expertise in other derivatives products, and experience from multiple asset classes and/or pension investments.
