Platform Engineer | SEB Kort, Solna
We’re seeking a skilled and passionate Platform Engineer with a solid background in software development to help us build the next generation of secure and automated API solutions and CI/CD pipelines. In this role, you’ll join a team that supports and empowers other development teams across the organization. Our team’s focus areas include API automation, integration solutions for APIs, and CI/CD pipeline development.
Are you excited about working with cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment? Then you might be the person we’re looking for!
About the role
You will design, develop, and maintain our automated solutions within the API domain — enabling development teams to both create APIs and efficiently consume partner APIs. You will also implement automated quality and security checks in our CI/CD pipeline products, following DevSecOps principles.
The role involves close collaboration with developers, architects, security specialists, and operations teams to ensure our solutions are secure, scalable, and efficient. You’ll drive improvements in code quality, test automation, and security monitoring.
In this role, you’ll work with technologies such as Java, Groovy, Bash, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
Who you are
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in automated build and deployment environments (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TypeScript) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
To thrive in this role, you are proactive, solution-oriented, and committed. You have strong communication skills and can maintain effective collaboration both within your own team and with other teams that use our products. Since you’ll be working with multiple teams, you need to be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Meriting qualifications:
Experience with OpenShift, Google Cloud, or Azure
Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservice architecture
What we offer
A dynamic work environment where you’ll have the opportunity to shape our technical solutions and contribute to our team’s development. You’ll work with modern technologies and platforms alongside a highly skilled and collaborative team with deep technical expertise.
You’ll be part of some of SEB Kort’s most strategic and business-critical areas. We have a strong culture of knowledge sharing, teamwork, and mutual support. A healthy work-life balance is important to us, and we offer flexible working hours and the possibility to work remotely a few days per week.
Do you want to be part of SEB?
It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected, and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.
