About the role
Join our legal team in Helsinki for a temporary assignment, approximately for 12 months, supporting our Private Wealth Management & Family Office business. You will provide crucial legal advice and act as a sounding board on family and inheritance law, and other legal matters, for our Private Banking and Family Office clients. This role involves active client contact, engaging with prospective clients and supporting existing ones in family law matters, contributing to SEB’s holistic service offering. You will collaborate closely with the legal team, Senior Wealth Planner, and Client Executives, delivering comprehensive legal documentation. You will receive training and support from experienced lawyers throughout the assignment.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
•Good knowledge of, and a strong interest in, Finnish family and inheritance law.
•A Master of Law degree or law studies close to completion; relevant work experience is considered an advantage.
•Fluency in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
•A strong customer relationship and business focus, coupled with a keen interest in financial markets and investments and the ability to master complex situations.
•A proactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindset, demonstrating ambition, service-mindedness, and a collaborative spirit.
Experience from a Private Banking environment or tax matters is an advantage.
