SEB’s Corporate & Investment Banking Summer Internship 2026 – FICC Derivative Sales

The internship in short
The programme kicks off with an engaging Introduction Week, where you’ll get to know SEB, meet professionals across the CIB division, and start building your network. Throughout the internship, you’ll be supported by a dedicated tutor and collaborate with internal stakeholders. We wrap up the experience with a Closing Day to reflect, share, and celebrate your journey.
About the team
Derivatives Sales service both domestic and international, institutional and corporate clients. We provide our clients with financial advisory and risk warehousing solutions to help them manage their risks and increase returns through fixed income related products.
During the internship you will support senior colleagues with market analysis and preparatory work, provide trading assistance, produce sales material and develop excel models. Most likely you will have one or two larger projects involving excel modelling and power point integration where collaboration with sales, quant and risk advisory will be key. During the internship you will gain an understanding of the sales role and the fixed income branch and have the opportunity to meet all teams within FICC Markets.
Who are you?
You are a highly motivated person with a genuine interest in financial markets and passion for data. We believe that you have a strong analytical and curious mindset, pay attention to details, enjoy collaboration and have a “can-do” attitude.
Qualifications
· You are currently pursuing a master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
· This job is client centric and therefore requires that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as fluent in Swedish and English.
· We are interested in your personal qualities, outside interests and achievements outside university that give us an idea who you are and what you can bring to the team.
