Quantitative Analyst for Model Validation | SEB, Stockholm

About the role
As a Quant Analyst within the Model Validation team, you will contribute to the development of the model validation framework and the measurement of model risk at SEB. You will assist in the validation of Front Office models and become an important player in managing the life cycles of valuation models. You will have the opportunity to develop both in financial risk management and in programming and technical solutions that support the validation team at SEB.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have
• An academic degree (MSc or PhD) in a quantitative field.
• Possesses a solid understanding of derivatives pricing and the valuation of financial instruments.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work within fixed deadlines, both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Proficiency in English, particularly in a professional setting.
• A few years of experience in model development, validation and risk management in the financial industry.
