About the job
 
We are now looking for a Head of Credit Risk Baltics to join the CRO function and the Baltic CRO management team. In this role, you will lead the Baltic Credit Risk team, with a dedicated focus on credit risk models and monitoring. You will ensure that practices are effective, compliant, and aligned with SEB Group standards and regulatory expectations.
Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Driving the credit risk framework for models and monitoring
  • Coordinating and organising credit risk control activities across the Baltics within 2nd line of defence
  • Leading the regulatory agenda and supervisory dialogue in credit risk and modelling matters
  • Acting as a center of competence, supporting and advising top management and other internal stakeholders
  • Collaborating closely with SEB Group CRO function and development teams to set agenda and priorities
  • To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • 10+ years of experience in banking, with deep knowledge of credit risk and IRB models
  • At least 5 years of managerial experience in a credit risk area
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations
  • Good knowledge of banking products, credit processes and 2nd line responsibilities
  • Delivery oriented mindset, with initiative and the ability to proactively address challenges in a high intensity environment
  • A degree in business, finance or related field
  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • 6.100 € - 9.100 € a month
    (before tax deduction)
    The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
