SEB isn’t just a bank, we are also a modern technology company with many talented IT professionals - product owners, business developers, finance and risk experts, analysts, architects, software developers. There are more than 200 systems and applications where all bank products, business processes, channels, and data are created and maintained by the Product & Technology Development department. 

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Customer Engagement Solutions team, which is working on implementing customer servicing solutions and making their usage beneficial and secure for the bank.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing, maintaining, and improving team-owned applications and integrations
  • Translating business and technical requirements into practical software solutions
  • Writing and maintaining automated tests and contributing to code quality
  • Collaborating with developers, product owners, analysts, testers, and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to technical decisions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within the team 
We believe you will thrive in this role if you have:
  • Hands-on professional experience developing backend applications with Java 
  • Experience working with relational databases and SQL  
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs, integrations, or middleware  
  • Experience writing and maintaining automated tests  
  • Good understanding of clean code and secure software development practices  
  • Ability to independently solve technical problems and take ownership of your work  
  • Fluency in English to work effectively with colleagues across the Baltics 
Considered as an advantage if you have experience with:
  • Kafka, Redpanda, or other event-streaming technologies 
  • OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other containerised/cloud environments  
  • CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices  
  • JavaScript / TypeScript  
  • Building or integrating AI-powered or generative AI solutions

2.950 € - 4.250 € a month

The indicated salary is before tax deduction.

The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
