Java developer for the New Cash Ledger Project at SEB

We are now looking for a Java developer to join the New Cash Ledger project at SEB.
About the job
The New Cash Ledger (NCL) project is a top-priority initiative with significant impact across the bank. Within the project, this team is responsible for building a new platform for handling liquidity products, replacing and modernizing critical parts of the existing landscape.
You will join a cross-functional product team with end-to-end responsibility for design, development, and delivery. The team works in an agile, iterative manner with continuous delivery and a strong focus on producing working software.
As a Java developer in NCL, you will work hands-on with the design and implementation of backend services, contribute to architectural decisions, and take shared responsibility for running the system we build in production. We value pragmatic solutions, fast feedback, and high code quality, supported by modern CI/CD practices and a strong testing culture.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have
Several years of experience (5+ years) developing and maintaining Java-based systems in production. Experience with some of the technologies and practices listed above. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions. The ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional, agile team. Clear communication skills and a sense of shared ownership for the delivered solution.
