Investor Services is a business unit that covers the Nordics, Luxembourg, and the Baltics from a home market perspective, delivering services that form the foundation of the relationship between financial institutions and SEB. In Luxembourg, Investor Services consists of 13 people split into two teams: Depositary Services & Oversight and Client Services. Together they play a key role in supporting SEB Luxembourg Branch, which has around 150 employees representing over 20 different nationalities. In Luxembourg our client segment consists mainly of investment funds (UCITS and AIF) and some large corporates.

Are you seeking an opportunity to acquire practical skills and experience in finance? We are seeking for an intern to join our team as soon as possible, but latest by 1 August 2026, for six months.

About the role

As an intern, you will be involved in our daily business activities and have a great opportunity to learn about banking and gain a thorough understanding of SEB’s business in Luxembourg and abroad.

In addition, this internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the banking industry and develop valuable skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an intern your main responsibilities include the following / you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting day-to-day Client Service activities, including client onboardings and remediation-related follow-ups
  • Playing a key role in the client team to deliver an outstanding service to some of SEB’s most important clients
  • Communicating proactively with clients and coordinating their requests across departments
  • Assisting Team with administrative tasks and reporting
Your profile

As a person you are a proactive problem solver, self-going and motivated by core values. You strive for continuous improvement and simplification to improve our customer experience.

 Further we believe you:

  • Are a student in university
  • Have positive outlook, a can-do attitude, and a strong sense of ownership
  • Enjoy speaking with people and do not have problem with maintenance of details
  • Have excellent verbal and written languages skills in English, and any other languages are considered an advantage
  • Possess excellent communication skills, combined with interpersonal abilities, and ability to plan and prioritize the daily work in a structured manner
  • Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
