Internship in Trade Finance Operations Team | SEB Group, Vilnius
Looking for an opportunity to gain practical experience in international banking while supporting a professional Trade Finance team?
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented colleague to join our Trade Finance Services team for a temporary period, helping us manage increased workload during a peak period.
Trade Finance supports international trade through products such as Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections and Guarantees. Our team works in an international environment and collaborates with colleagues and business partners across different markets.
In this temporary position, you will support the Trade Finance Services team mainly with document handling, administrative and operational tasks. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in banking operations, understand how international Trade Finance processes work, and develop strong organizational skills.
You do not need to be a Trade Finance expert from day one. What matters most is your willingness to learn, accuracy, reliability and ability to work in a structured way.
- Supporting the team with Trade Finance documentation and operational tasks
- Receiving, reviewing, sorting and preparing documents for further processing
- Registering and maintaining information in relevant systems
- Supporting document handling, filing and archiving activities
- Performing defined administrative and process-support tasks
- Ensuring that information and documents are handled accurately and on time
- Following established procedures and quality requirements
- Cooperating with Trade Finance colleagues to support smooth day-to-day operations
- Helping the team manage increased volumes during the peak period
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Are comfortable working with documents, data and repetitive operational tasks
- Are responsible, reliable and able to follow established procedures
- Can organize your work and prioritize tasks
- Have good communication and teamwork skills
- Are comfortable working in English
- Are willing to learn and are not afraid to ask questions
- Have a positive, hands-on and can-do attitude
- A temporary position within an international Trade Finance environment
- Practical experience in banking operations and Trade Finance
- Introduction and training to help you understand the relevant processes and tasks
- Support from experienced Trade Finance colleagues

Before tax deduction, the final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
