HR Screening is a new team within Group HR, established to shape and execute SEB strategy regarding background checks of staff. The team is responsible for background checks, both during recruitment as well as during employment and is acting as Center of Excellence for background checks, with the goal of strengthening SEB’s ability to manage staff‑related risks across the organisation.
Joining this team means stepping into an exciting build‑up phase where processes, routines, and ways of working are being formed. You will have a unique opportunity to influence how the team develops and plays a role in strengthening SEB going forward.
- Play a key role in handling and assessing screening results, conducting structured screening conversations, making evaluations, and determining when cases should be escalated within SEB’s screening and risk‑awareness processes.
- Understand and evaluate potential risks, carefully weigh screening outcomes, and determine the appropriate course of action based on your knowledge, judgement, and the SEB framework.
- Contribute to driving, improving, and implementing processes, frameworks, and documentation as part of shaping a new team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Privacy Office and other relevant functions.
- Have experience in leading security interviews, investigative screening interviews, or risk‑assessment interviews.
- Have experience in staff investigations, background checks, or other human‑risk related areas.
