About the role
As a Frontend Software Engineer in the Account Channels team, you will work primarily with Angular and TypeScript, developing customer-facing digital banking solutions for SEB’s corporate customers.
We are looking for a frontend-focused engineer with strong Angular and TypeScript skills who is motivated to grow into a full-stack role. You will initially focus primarily on frontend development while gradually expanding your skills into Java and Spring Boot. With strong backend competence already in the team, you will have the support and opportunities to build hands-on backend experience over time. Our goal is for this role to develop into a broader full-stack engineering position.
The role is well suited for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, understanding business processes behind technical solutions, and continuously learning new technologies and ways of working.

Develop and maintain web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.

Build reusable components and contribute to micro frontend architecture and platform evolution.

Work with REST APIs and frontend-to-backend integrations.

Participate in technical design and help improve frontend architecture and engineering practices.

Write and maintain automated tests and contribute to code quality.

Use GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools as part of modern software engineering.

Troubleshoot application issues using logs, monitoring and other diagnostic tools.

Take ownership of the solutions you build, from design and development to deployment, monitoring and production support.

Strong experience with Angular or another modern frontend framework such as React or Next.js.

Good knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript.

Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and handling authentication, error states and data mapping in the UI.

An eye for maintainable, testable and component-based frontend architecture, such as micro frontends and design systems.

Curiosity about how things work end to end and interest in solving production issues, not only building features.

Motivation to broaden your skills beyond frontend development and gradually grow into Java and Spring Boot.

Comfort using modern AI-assisted development tools and willingness to continuously explore new ways of improving engineering productivity.

The above indicated range is the monthly salary range for this position before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
