Our ambitious data roadmap is growing, and we are looking for a GCP Data Engineer to join the Data & Integration team. In this role, you will help develop our new cloud data platform and provide stakeholders with business-critical data and high-quality customer value. Working in a cross-functional team, you will combine hands-on development with end-to-end responsibility, stakeholder dialogue, technical design decisions, code reviews and coaching.

As a Data Engineer, your main responsibility will be to enable the team and the rest of the organization with a data platform and the tools that power data at Asset Management.

Work with regulatory and business-related development in the high-priority Fund and Portfolio area.

Develop a cloud data warehouse solution that supports and optimizes the business.

Provide stakeholders with business-critical data.

Work across requirements, testing, development and deployment.

Maintain an active dialogue with stakeholders about the solutions.

Contribute to technical design decisions

Investigating new technologies and concepts, contributing to continuous improvement.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have

Extensive experience as a Data Engineer, designing, building, and optimizing scalable data products and integration pipelines on GCP.

Strong experience in data integration, data modeling, data structures, data pipelines, and data management.

Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Apache Airflow.

Experience with data warehousing and modern cloud-based data infrastructure.

Strong programming and development skills in SQL, Python, and DBT.

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing, test automation, version control (e.g., Git), and agile development methodologies.

A solid understanding of data quality, observability, performance monitoring, and alerting strategies.

A collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuously improving engineering practices and data capabilities.

Experienced in working in an agile environment

Fluency in English and a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
