We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join Tech Trading FX/MM and help drive our accelerated FX agenda. Our department is part of Technology Trading and consists of around 60 professionals delivering development and maintenance for FX trading. We operate in a fast-paced environment where time-to-market, stability, and quality are critical to business success.

About the role

As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team with approximately 12 employees within Tech Trading FX, combining leadership, technology, and business understanding.

You will:

  • Drive the technical agenda and roadmap in close collaboration with the Tech Lead and Product Owner
  • Coach and develop engineers, strengthening both technical excellence and team performance
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between solutions and client needs

A key part of the role is to actively drive the adoption of modern technologies including cloud-native solutions, automation, and AI.

You are expected to:

  • Identify opportunities where modern technologies create business value
  • Encourage experimentation, curiosity and learning in the team
  • Lead the evolution of ways of working, tools, and engineering practices

You report to the Department Manager and are an active member of the management team.

Who you are

You are an experienced leader with a strong technical background, ideally having worked as an Engineering Manager with direct reports or in a similar leadership position for several years.

You combine:

  • A hands-on understanding of modern software development
  • Leadership experience with a focus on coaching and empowerment
  • A strong interest in financial markets (FX knowledge is a merit)
  • You are curious, forward leaning, and comfortable operating in a changing environment. More importantly, you actively drive change.
