We are looking to strengthen our DCM Bonds / Schuldscheine DACH team in Frankfurt with an Associate (m/f/d).
Debt Capital Markets (DCM) operates with local teams in Stockholm, Oslo, Helsinki, Frankfurt and London that cover SEB’s home markets across the Nordics, Baltics, DACH, Netherlands and UK. SEB has a leading market position in the Nordic DCM markets and is a significant and growing player in the Eurobond market, particularly for corporates from the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
The role
As an Associate, you will be an active member of deal teams, supporting the origination, structuring and execution of bond and Schuldscheine transactions for investment grade corporates. You will work closely with senior team members and clients, contributing to the development of long-term client relationships and SEB’s DCM franchise in the DACH region.
- Supporting the origination and execution of bond and Schuldscheine transactions
- Preparing client materials, financing analyses and market updates
- Contributing to structuring discussions and transaction documentation
- Coordinating internally with Syndicate, Sales, Coverage and Legal teams
- Managing workstreams to ensure efficient transaction execution and timelines
- Building and maintaining client relationships at working level
- Supporting business development initiatives and client dialogues
- Ensuring high-quality deliverables and strong attention to detail

Your profile

Completed university degree in business administration or a comparable qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally in DCM or a Financing related field
- Strong understanding of capital markets and financing structures (ideally including bonds and/or Schuldscheine)
- Solid analytical skills and knowledge of financial models
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel capabilities, ideally experience in Bloomberg
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Good understanding of the business environment and competitive landscape
- Ability to independently manage assignments and deliver against defined goals
- Very strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility for work quality
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
