About the role:
Our Baltic Finance Shared Services Centre team as one integrated cross-company team consisting of highly skilled finance professionals ensure an effective service through delivering aligned, consistent and timely accounting and reporting processing in a simplified and automatized manner across the Baltic countries.
As part of Baltic Accounting team in your role you will give your contribution to ensure efficient accounting processes according to given quality standards and requirements in a timely and efficient manner, assuring high quality, as well as contribute to development of accounting processes towards digitalization and automation within the organization.
- Be responsible for accounting processes under your supervision, ensuring daily accounting tasks and month-end closing procedures and controls within the area assigned to you
- Provide data necessary for financial reporting process within the area of your responsibilities
- Handling communication and requests received from business stakeholders and external parties
- Work together with the team on continuous process and accounting system improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Actively participate in Baltic wide initiatives in relation to accounting topics within the assigned area of competence
- Contribute to development of internal organizational documents, policies and procedures
- Higher education in finance, economics, or accounting and at least 1 year experience in accounting
- Good knowledge of accounting and tax matters, strong MS Excel and analytical skills, and an interest in keeping up with developments in the field
- A proactive, responsible and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing environment
- Good spoken and written English, as the daily work involves Baltic-level projects, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in work with Oracle Financials will be considered as advantage
