The Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) unit is accelerating the deployment of financial crime prevention capabilities to become a leader in fighting financial crime.
As part of this journey, the FCP Group Sanctions Office is looking to hire a new senior colleague to join the team.

About the role:
We’re seeking  a strategic, experienced Senior Sanctions Officer to join our Sanctions Advisory Unit in Vilnius. This high-impact, senior-level role demands deep sanctions expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence at the highest levels. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, initially as an individual contributor, with a view to build and lead a local advisory team.
 
You will drive regulatory monitoring, advise on complex sanctions and circumvention matters (OFAC, EU, UN, UK), lead high-risk investigations, and integrate sanctions intelligence into broader risk frameworks. You will design sanctions and sanctions circumvention role-based training for key functions and shape our sanctions strategy in a fast-evolving global landscape.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • 5+ years of direct experience in sanctions compliance, including advisory, investigations, or policy-related responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated management or leadership experience, with the ability to lead initiatives and build and manage a team.
  • Strong working knowledge of key international sanctions regimes, including EU, UN, US, and UK, and their practical implementation within a financial institution.
  • Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English; fluency in Swedish is considered an advantage.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative and trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across business, risk, and compliance functions.
  • Solid understanding of financial products, services, and payment systems, and how they intersect with sanctions risks.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a track record of identifying opportunities to enhance or streamline existing policies, processes, and controls.

  • 3.950 € - 5.950 € a month
    The above indicated range is the monthly salary range for this position before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
