What you will be doing
We are looking for a Junior Financial Accountant that will support the finance team across multiple the range of finance processes. You will have the opportunity to learn finance roles from the underpinning details to the high-level output. You will be working within a small and agile Finance team supported by a centralised finance centre.
You will be responsible for
· Supporting the month end processes such as accruals and control reviews
· Investigation of monthly PL and BS variances
· Assistance with annual budgeting processes and ongoing budget reviews
· Production of management reporting analysis and presentations
· Tax compliance production including employer benefits and corporate income tax returns
· Preparation of financial regulatory reports
Who you are
· You have a university degree or AAT/ATT qualification.
· You have experience of bookkeeping and accounting fundamentals ideally 1+ years
· You have the right to work in the UK
· You are inquisitive and enjoy learning
· You have great attention to detail and strive to understand financial and business processes
· You are competent with Excel and have familiarity with PowerPoint
· You are adaptable and willing to challenge and improve processes
· You are eager to learn and develop as an accountant
