We are currently looking for a Data Engineer that will be part of the FCP Data Management Team which goal is delivering data for other teams in the Financial Crime Prevention area, and to support other teams to create a consistent data layer for the whole FCP. As a Data Engineer you will be part of the team consisting of: Data Engineers, Scrum Master, Product Owner and Business Analyst. You will be also in contact with the other teams to define the details of the expected solution

Responsibilities:
  • Designing, implementing and maintaining data pipelines.
  • Collaborating with developers from the team and with the architects on defining the process implementation design.
  • Providing work estimates and timely updates on solution development progress.
  • Working closely with the stakeholders to confirm details of solutions and validate requirements.
  • Helping business to understand technical capabilities, suggesting best possible solutions and explaining limitations.
  • Defining ways of working, suggesting and implementing improvements.
  • Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in Scala or Java programming language
  • Experience with Spark
  • Experience with CI/CD and relevant tools like Github Actions
  • Experience with cloud services (GCP) and infrastructure as a code (Terraform) is considered an advantage
  • Experience with Airflow is considered an advantage
  • Data pipeline testing experience is considered an advantage
  • Business and product-oriented mindset, including experience on working directly with business stakeholders
  • Experience in banking is considered as an advantage
  • Experience in working in Scrum and agile ways of working
  • Analytical mindset and ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Passion for challenges that drive your personal development and professional growth

  • Fluent English
