With the Tech Trainee Programme and as an employee, we'll help you develop new skills and take on more responsibility to create a positive impact. You will become a crucial key player in shaping the future of the bank.
Your Tech Trainee position and your team
You’ll be joining an Account Channels team that develops and maintains critical customer-facing systems. Our solutions often sit at the very end of long and complex end-to-end flows, where quality, accuracy, and trust really matter.
As a QA Specialist Tech Trainee, you will learn how quality assurance helps ensure reliable solutions and great customer experiences. You are curious about how systems work, enjoy exploring details, and like solving problems to understand not only what happens, but also why it happens.
Our systems involve complex business logic and connected flows across different systems. As part of the team, you will learn to understand different scenarios, identify unexpected behaviors, and contribute to delivering high quality solutions.
You will work closely with developers, testers, business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders in an Agile setup.
• Support testing activities for customer-facing systems and digital solutions
• Learn to identify issues, investigate root causes, and help ensure high quality deliveries
• Create and execute test scenarios and document findings clearly
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand functionality and validate solutions
• Contribute to improving quality practices and ways of working
• Explore and suggest how emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, can improve quality assurance and software development.
Simultaneously by working in the role you are being recruited to, you will participate in SEB's Tech Trainee Programme for six months. It will give you the opportunity to develop an extensive network within the bank, gain a deep understanding of the financial industry and our global tech organization, and be professionally and personally challenged.
As part of the programme, you can expect to: contribute to meaningful projects, work on tech tracks, gain communication and leadership skills, and participate in a hackathon and a business challenge.

Quality starts with curiosity. Great testers do not only verify what works - they are curious enough to discover what could break.
Previous experience (part-time work, own projects etc.) and involvement during your studies are advantageous but what matters most is your potential and passion.
