SEB Private Equity becomes new owner partner of Multisoft Group

SEB Private Equity acquires a majority stake in Multisoft Group ("Multisoft"), a leading player in automation and tailored system support for administrative processes. The investment aims to support the company in the next phase of its expansion journey.

Since its inception in 2000, Multisoft has built up a strong market position with a turnover of approximately SEK 250 million and over 400 customers spread across several industries and geographies. Through its proprietary low-code platform, Softadmin, the company enables its customers to develop complex and customized systems significantly faster than with traditional software development. The result is shorter lead times, high flexibility and better conditions for an agile and business-oriented way of working.

Over the past five years, Multisoft has combined strong organic growth with strategic key acquisitions. This has strengthened the company's presence in Norway and broadened the offering to both existing and new customer segments. With an experienced team, a leading market position and a growing demand for customized software solutions, the company is well equipped for continued expansion.

"Multisoft has made an impressive journey to get to where they are today. Our ambition is to build on this success by continuing to grow organically in Sweden, accelerating growth in the Norwegian market and developing the customer offering," says Babak Etemad, Investment Director at SEB Private Equity.

"We are very pleased to welcome SEB Private Equity as the majority owner. Their expertise and solid experience from similar investments, both in the Nordic region and globally, is something we value highly and look forward to benefiting from in our continued development," says Emil Gyllenring, CEO of Multisoft.
