SEB Private Equity acquires a majority stake in the physical security company Alarmtech, becoming a new growth partner to the founding family as the company continues its expansion journey.
Alarmtech, headquartered in Sollentuna outside Stockholm, is on a strong growth trajectory. Through the partnership, the company gains a capital-strong and experienced ownership partner with a long track record of supporting Nordic industrial technology companies on their international growth journeys. With a presence already in Poland, Spain and France, Alarmtech is now aiming to further scale production, strengthen its organizational capabilities, and expand into new markets.
Alarmtech is a leading niche player in the European intrusion alarm market, serving critical infrastructure across society. The company designs, manufactures, and sells certified high-security components such as magnetic contacts, shock and vibration sensors, glass break detectors and power supply units. With in-house product development and production, Alarmtech has built a strong reputation for reliability, technical expertise, and compatibility with all leading alarm systems. In recent years, the company has grown to a turnover of approximately SEK 125 million.
