Multi management

Multi Management is the unit who focuses on creating solutions for customers with needs that extend beyond individual products or asset classes.

The team actively manages mixed portfolios with a focus on asset allocation, fund selection and portfolio construction. The team is also responsible for producing SEB Investment Management's common vision regarding asset allocation: SEB House View.

Our investment process

The investment process is based on fundamental analysis and solid experience, with quantitative support in portfolio construction as well as in screening and analysis.

Some of the most important parts of the investment process include:

  • A dynamic allocation between the different asset classes depending on market perception
  • Thematic Equity investments
  • The choice of funds and fund managers in order to create well-balanced portfolios.

All in all, this leads to well-diversified portfolios where a dynamic allocation process combined with more long-term thematic investments allow for good conditions that generate good risk-adjusted return in various markets.

The team

The portfolio management team – located in Sweden, Finland and Denmark – has both general market expertise and local expertise. This enables them to create tailor-made solutions for local market conditions and various customer needs. Thanks to the proximity to each local market, the team also has access to expertise in local asset classes. Our teams are close to SEB's customers and are equipped to meet our investors' needs for complete solutions in a healthy but flexible way.

SEB's House Views

Our market view, SEB House View, determines how our different asset classes should be allocated. Thanks to our market view, the best opportunities for good risk-adjusted returns are created based on the current market situation. We present the results in reports and films.

SEB Investment Management AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. The fund company was formed May 19, 1978, with headquarters in Stockholm and organisation number 556197-3719.
