Portfolio management

With close to SEK 758bn in assets under management (as of 31 December 2023), we are one of the largest asset managers in the Nordic region. We have long experience and strong investment capabilities across asset classes – Equities, Fixed Income, Alternatives and Multi Management – and some 100 investment professionals. We aim to generate high risk-adjusted performance combined with rigorous risk management processes and ensure our funds' goals for sustainable investing.

Alternative investments

Within alternative investments we offer a range of both listed and non-listed investment vehicles within Private Equity, Real Estate, Micro Finance and hedge funds.

Equities

Our equity management is characterized by in-depth fundamental analysis combined with sophisticated and modern methods. We invest in most markets around the world.

Fixed income

Our fixed income management is characterized by a fundamental investment process supported by solid quantitative analysis. We have extensive experience in many fixed income related asset classes, investing in everything from treasury bonds to High Yield in primarily the Nordic region, Europe and the United States.

Multi management

Multi Management is the unit who focuses on creating solutions for customers with needs that extend beyond individual products or asset classes. The team actively manages mixed portfolios with a focus on asset allocation, fund selection and portfolio construction. The team is also responsible for producing SEB Investment Management's common vision regarding asset allocation: SEB House View. 

Discretionary portfolio management

We conduct discretionary portfolio management. The company only has customers who are judged to be professionals and the sustainability criteria are set in each individual contract.

Investment advice

The company is authorized to provide investment advice regarding financial instruments and other assets that SEB Investment Management AB manages. Furthermore, we provide advice regarding investments in real estate. We only offer advisory services to institutional investors, who are judged to be professionals, and the sustainability criteria are set in each individual contract.

SEB Investment Management AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB. The fund company was formed May 19, 1978, with headquarters in Stockholm and organization number 556197-3719.
