Top PRI ratings for SEB again

In 2008, SEB signed the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and has since then reported yearly on how SEB complies with the six principles. In the latest annual grading of sustainable investments, SEB received A+ which is the highest score. "The fact that we continue to receive top score is an important confirmation of our work, since the demands increase in line with the development within the sustainability area", says Anette Andersson, investment specialist within ESG at SEB Investment Management.

Growing interest for SEB’s microfinance funds

The combination of financial return and the opportunity to contribute to better living conditions for the poor in developing countries is attracting more and more investors, and since 2013, SEB has launched six microfinance funds that channel capital to some of the world's poorest people. "Microfinance is crucial for sustainable economic development in emerging markets," says Hetal Damani, who, together with Camilla Löwenhielm, is responsible for SEB's microfinance funds.
