"Customers expect smart digital solutions and proactive, value-creating advice. To meet this demand we need to increase the pace of the digital transition, work even more data-driven and automate our processes as much as possible. Nicolas and Ausra will strengthen this perspective at executive level," says Johan Torgeby.
Nicolas Moch has been head of Information Strategy & Architecture, ISA, since 2015. He has now been appointed SEB's Chief Information Officer, CIO. This means that he is responsible for IT strategy, management and architecture as well as shared functions such as Information Management and Digital Enablers, including overall responsibility for the bank's project portfolio.
"I will push the IT agenda and ensure that it gets full executive focus. I am responsible for the digital journey from a technology perspective and will work closely with Sara Öhrvall, who is responsible for digitalisation from a customer perspective," he says.
Ausra Matuceviciene has been head of Operations since 2014. She now becomes part of the extended GEC with a specific focus on pushing automation issues.
"My role is to build on the work we have done in Operations and take the next step in automating all the links in customers' value chains, end-to-end," she says.
The appointments come into effect on 1 November. Both Moch and Matuceviciene continue to report to Martin Johansson, head of Business Support.
