SEB top asset manager in Nordic region

A Kantar Sifo Prospera survey of Nordic financial institutions and companies with externally managed capital of at least 200 million Swedish kronor places SEB in the top spot overall in the region.

In Prospera's ranking of asset managers at an aggregated level for the Nordic countries, the results from the surveys in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway are weighted together. SEB takes the top position in this year's ranking.

"It is of course very pleasing to receive a receipt like this that our customers appreciate what we do. It is the customers' opinions that form the basis for this, which makes it an important confirmation that we are on the right path", says Christian Thålin, head of Asset Management Sales within SEB's Large Corporates & Financial Institutions division.

The survey includes criteria such as track record, customer relationship, reporting, sustainability perspective in terms of investments, product information and more.

"Of course I am very proud and happy about this. It shows that we have products and services that are at the forefront, in all markets. I am very happy that our customers feel that we understand them and can meet their needs. This applies to everything from service to sustainability aspects and a relevant product range, offering everything from broader products to specialized niche products, such as private equity, real estate and microfinance funds", says Javiera Ragnartz, head of the Investment Management division.

The survey is based on interviews with investment managers at over 360 companies and financial institutions in the Nordic countries, evaluating 42 fund companies and asset managers. SEB has climbed in all markets to a third place in Sweden, Finland and Denmark. In Norway, there is an insufficient base for a relevant evaluation.
