SEB appoints Vilius Juzikis new country manager in Lithuania

Vilius Juzikis

Vilius Juzikis is expected to take up the role on 1 January 2027, subject to regulatory approval, succeeding Sonata Gutauskaitė-Bubnelienė, who will become Head of SEB’s Baltic division on 1 September 2026.

Juzikis is currently Chief Risk Officer and a member of SEB’s local management team in Lithuania. He joined SEB in 2001 and has held several senior positions in the bank.

“Vilius Juzikis is a highly experienced leader with deep knowledge of SEB, strong business understanding and broad expertise in corporate banking, credits and risk management”, says Sonata Gutauskaitė-Bubnelienė.

She says Juzikis commitment to customers, strong risk culture and contribution to the development of SEB in Lithuania will be important as SEB continues to strengthen its position and support customers going forward.

Juzikis holds a Master’s degree in Economics, specialising in Banking, from Vilnius University and has completed several executive and leadership development programmes.

Juzikis says SEB has a very strong position in the Lithuanian market, built on long-term customer relationships, professional expertise and a strong team.

“My ambition is to continue developing our business together with colleagues across Lithuania, the Baltics and elsewhere, while remaining a trusted partner to our customers”, he says.

Until the end of 2026, Gutauskaitė-Bubnelienė will serve as both Head of the Baltic Division and country manager in Lithuania. From 2027 Juzikis will take over as country manager.
