SEB tops Nordic corporate banking survey with record score

SEB has been ranked the leading corporate bank in the Nordic region for the sixth year in a row, according to the 2025 Prospera Large Corporate Banking survey. 

SEB achieved its highest-ever overall score of 4.42 in the survey, up from 4.36 last year. The bank secured the number one position in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 segments, with scores of 4.41 and 4.42 respectively.

“We are honoured to once again be recognised as the leading bank for large Nordic corporates, and we thank our customers for their continued trust,” says Maria Rimbäck, Head of Global Banking at SEB. “Their feedback is crucial as we work to strengthen our offering and service.”

SEB ranked highest in eight of the 11 subcategories, including understanding banking needs, industry knowledge and strategic goals, financial competence, strategic advice and customer solutions, proactiveness, senior management attention, quick decisions and sustainability support.

By geography, SEB maintained its top position in Sweden and reclaimed the number one spot in Finland with a record score. In Denmark and Norway, SEB was ranked third.

Participants: 345 large Nordic companies, mainly treasurers and CFOs 

Segments:

  • Tier 1: turnover above 1.5 billion euros
  • Tier 2: turnover 750 million – 1.5 billion euros in Sweden, 500 million – 1.5 billion euros in the other countries.
