"We are proud of this achievement but humbled by our clients’ trust in us. We look forward to building on this vote of confidence from existing and new clients," says Christian Thålin, Head of Asset Management Sales.
Thålin emphasised that the SEB’s Nordic asset management teams have systematically focused on sustainability and optimised product offerings to align with the growing client interest in this area. This includes the SEB Nordic Energy fund, which invests in renewable energy assets in the Nordics.
When Kantar Sifo compiled responses from individual countries, SEB ranked first in Denmark for the third consecutive year, and third in Finland (up from last year’s sixth place) and Sweden (maintaining its position). In all three markets, SEB substantially improved its absolute performance scores.
The overall ranking is based on scores across 13 categories, with SEB securing the top spot with a score of 4.04, the highest recorded by any participant over the last 10 years.
Javiera Ragnartz, head of Asset Management, highlighted that this result was achieved during a year characterised by diligent work aimed at futureproofing the division.
"This achievement reflects the tremendous efforts of not only our teams but also all our colleagues across SEB. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved. The future looks very promising.”
