“We are incredibly proud of this result; it requires constant dedication & proactivity from our teams working closely together across the globe, with our clients always at the core of our focus. This survey confirms our position as the no1 FX bank in the Nordics and comes after a set of strong results in customer satisfaction measurements for 2023, and a positive trend over the last few years. What’s more impressive is that this has been achieved during a challenging macro environment this year", says Anna Andrén, global head of FX in the Large Corporates & Financial Institutions division.
She adds that FX services are global in nature and the service model extends to 24 hours every day, meaning different SEB sites work in close collaboration. It is also a technology intense product, making the bank’s tech teams an important part of the value chain as well as Business Services and Treasury.
Prospera is basing its survey on interviews with 234 large corporates, and financial institutions in the Nordics. The respondents have rated their bank relationships based on 18 different categories which have then been weighed together to form an overall result "Overall Performance".
SEB improves its score from 4,16 to 4.23 and climbs from second to first place in this year’s ranking.
Looking at the various sub-categories, SEB is ranked number one in six of the areas, including business ideas in kronor, research, macro and strategy, risk advisory, pricing in Spot and Swaps Kronor and FX Options pricing.
“We have ambitious goals and a clear strategy to ensure we are at the forefront and future proofing our business for and together with our clients. Our ambition is to continue to be the best FX bank in the Nordics for the years to come, says Anna Andrén”.
“Lastly, a great thank you to all our clients for your trust in SEB, we look forward to continuing to develop the FX market together”.
