Prospera: SEB ranked best bank by large Nordic companies

SEB maintains its position as the leading corporate bank in the Nordics, shows the latest customer survey from Prospera.

“It is incredibly gratifying that customers once again rank us as the best bank. It is the finest rating you can receive and a constant guiding light in our daily work,” says Andreas Fredriksson, Head of Corporate Banking within the Large Corporates & Financial Institutions division.

The Corporate Banking 2023 survey is based on interviews with 327 large companies in the four Nordic countries. They have rated their banking relationships based on eleven different categories, which have then been weighted to form an overall performance.

Highest rating

SEB received the highest rating and ranks at the top overall with a rating of 4.23. SEB ranks number one among the very largest companies (Tier 1) and this year also climbs up to first place among the slightly smaller companies (Tier 2).

Looking at the eleven subcategories, SEB is ranked number one in eight. This applies to understanding the customers' banking needs, industry knowledge, coordinated offering and expertise, strategic advice and customised solutions, proactivity, senior management attention, quick decisions and sustainability support.

“We always work actively with the Prospera results. It is a good tool for us to calibrate our daily work. We see where we need to improve and set up a plan that we work according to,” says Andreas Fredriksson.

Footnote

Tier 1 consists of 158 large companies with a turnover of over 1.5 billion euros.

Tier 2 consists of 169 large companies with a turnover between 500 million and 1.5 billion euros (In Sweden, the limit is set to companies with a turnover between 750 million and 1.5 billion euros).
