“Our role is to be a central point of contact both for the products that we will offer in our developer portal and for external partners who want to offer services in SEB’s channels,” says Martina Wallenberg.
By the summer the unit will consist of five people. In addition to Martina the team will include a portal manager, a community manager and a partner manager, who will be the contact for those companies that want to collaborate with SEB. This role is currently under recruitment.
The task for the Open Banking team is to take a holistic approach and coordinate the bank’s offering regardless of product or customer segment.
Martina Wallenberg has worked at SEB since 2015, in Group Finance and within SEB's Innovation Lab. Since 2017 she has worked in the evolving area of Open Banking.
“It is really exciting and fun to finally formalise this work in a line operation. I look forward to take the next step and scale up our efforts,” she says.
